Our website is dedicated to helping teens find jobs. Getting a job is tough, but getting a job when you have little or no experience makes it even tougher. It has very useful information, including work permit information, labor laws, jobs for teens by city/state, non-traditional job ideas, and more.

Library patrons can enjoy many of our digital and audiobooks from the comfort of their own homes. All you need is a valid library card and your smartphone, tablet, or computer, and you can download books at any time. Please use our card catalog to find and download your e-books. It gives us credit for circulation.

Movies and music check out for three days. E-books, Audios, and Graphic Novels check out for 21 days. You may borrow up to 10 items a month, and all materials are multi-access. Who are the Friends of the Library? They are a group of local library customers with common interests, which include:

InterLibrary Loan (ILL)
InterLibrary Loan is a program that allows us to request books from other Kentucky libraries. So, if you are looking for a book we don’t have, we can try finding it for you. All you have to do is:
- Request a form from the Circulation desk.
- Please fill out as much of the form as possible.
- Have a GCPL library card.
- Be in good standing-no late fees or over dues.
- Have completed your first three checkouts.
- There is a limit of three items at a time.
- ILL’s are not renewable
- The Book release date should be at least one year prior to the request.
