Our website is dedicated to helping teens find jobs. Getting a job is tough, but getting a job when you have little or no experience makes it even tougher. It has very useful information, including work permit information, labor laws, jobs for teens by city/state, non-traditional job ideas, and more.
Library patrons can enjoy many of our digital and audio books from the comfort of their own home. All you need is a valid library card and your smartphone, tablet, or computer, and you can download books at any time. Please use our card catalog to find and download your e-books. It gives us credit for circulation.
Convenient online access to hundreds of courses for professional and career development, computer skills, and personal development. Click on the link listed, pick a course, and then enroll by creating an account and typing your library card number into a box when prompted.
Download digital content on your electronic devices. Over 300,000 titles of movies, music, e-books, audios, and graphic novels are available for your enjoyment. Movies and music check out for three days. E-books, Audios, and Graphic Novels check out for 21 days. You may borrow up to 12 items a month, and all materials are multi-access. Create an account by clicking on Get Started to Sign Up. Choose Graves County Public Library, then put in your library card number and then your e-mail address.
If you are preparing to visit a foreign country this summer, brush up on your skills with Mango Languages™ offered here at the library. Mango Languages feature more than 60 foreign languages and makes learning a foreign language more fun. Watch this short clip to see what it's about.

Who are the Friends of the Library? They are a group of local library customers with common interests, which include:
• Having a concern for the Library's active expansion and participation in community life
• Sharing a conviction that good Library service is important to everyone
• Providing support for the Library's programs and goals
• Promoting community awareness and use of the Library
• Encouraging gifts, memorials, and endowments for the Library
• Sponsoring programs designed to add to the cultural life of the community

Annual Membership Costs:
Senior Citizen and Students $5.00
It's easy. You can pick up a membership form at the library, fill it out, and give it to any staff member. Then grab an armful of books, music cd's, and movies to share with your family. Read for the fun of it! Read to your children! Read for life!
InterLibrary Loan (ILL)
InterLibrary Loan is a program that allows us to request books from other Kentucky libraries. So, if you are looking for a book we don’t have, we can try finding it for you. All you have to do is:
|• Request a form from the Circulation desk.
• Please fill out as much of the form as possible.
• Have a GCPL library card.
• Be in good standing-no late fees or over dues.
• Have completed first three checkouts.
|• There is a limit of three items at a time.
• Late fee for ILL’s is .50 per day, per item.
• ILL’s are not renewable.
• The Book release date should be at least six months prior to the request.
